December is always a busy month and I always have a ton of baking to do but this year was almost too busy (which I’m extraordinarily grateful for) with all the baking requests I had coming in. I promised myself last year that I would not do anymore tray requests because it’s a lot of […]

Hi! First off, thanks for popping in! I started this blog for a number of reasons and if you look through the posts you will see all sorts of randomness. I'm a mom of 3 living in a small village in Saskatchewan. We are a household that is on the go a lot with the nearest city an hour away. We love reading, going for walks, playing at as many parks as we can find and just hanging out.
I struggle with anxiety, depression, & ptsd but strive to find the positive in the every day ordinary moments and thank the good Lord for all the blessings I have :)
My Mental Health journey has recently reminded me of my love for all kinds of art, writing poetry being the first to reintroduce myself to. It's hard to open up and let those feelings flow after being buried so deep for so long.
I have a little bit of everything here so I won't take it personally if you don't like or connect to everything I write, but I do really appreciate you being here and sharing in this journey of me re-discovering my true self through words and thoughts that don't always make sense to anyone but myself :D

Merry Christmas
We made it through another Christmas. Another year is almost upon us. I can’t believe how quickly 2019 has gone! Last Friday I was in the city for an appointment for the youngest guy while the others were enjoying their last day of school before the break. The two of managed to get a little […]
Getting Crafty
This year we decided that we were going to make our tree ornaments. This is not something that my husband or I did while growing up and I have always been very partial to big trees with white and icy blue decorations and I really don’t know why. And no tinsel, I don’t like tinsel. […]
Waiting At The Edge
I can feel you there in the shadows Waiting ominously. I can sense the darkness in your non-existent eyes. I’m over here loving my new life full of warmth. The warmth that I found on my own while seeking me. I look your way sometimes, towards the dark hole. That place at the edge of […]
