Always. It’s always a busy summer. I love spending time with my kids and watching them grow, both physically and intellectually. They make me a better person each day. They also make me stressed, tired, prematurely grey, worry constantly, and grateful for every moment!! My daughter is hoping to get her cast off right away […]

Hi! First off, thanks for popping in! I started this blog for a number of reasons and if you look through the posts you will see all sorts of randomness. I'm a mom of 3 living in a small village in Saskatchewan. We are a household that is on the go a lot with the nearest city an hour away. We love reading, going for walks, playing at as many parks as we can find and just hanging out.
I struggle with anxiety, depression, & ptsd but strive to find the positive in the every day ordinary moments and thank the good Lord for all the blessings I have :)
My Mental Health journey has recently reminded me of my love for all kinds of art, writing poetry being the first to reintroduce myself to. It's hard to open up and let those feelings flow after being buried so deep for so long.
I have a little bit of everything here so I won't take it personally if you don't like or connect to everything I write, but I do really appreciate you being here and sharing in this journey of me re-discovering my true self through words and thoughts that don't always make sense to anyone but myself :D

Banana Bread
You know that moment you find a recipe you absolutely love and everyone approves and feel like a total rockstar because people are telling you how great it tasted and how it just melted in their mouth and then one day you just can’t find the recipe anymore? It’s just…gone. No? Well it happens to […]
Family Night Out
I decided that since it’s been raining for a week straight and I haven’t had the time to mow the lawn or fix my fire pit that, instead of having a hot dog roast with s’mores and bush pies, we would go out for supper. We were celebrating the last day of school as well […]
Oven Roasted Cauliflower
This roasted cauliflower was so good! I’m probably pretty late on this band wagon as well haha but I’ve been trying really hard to eat more vegetables and I always hated cauliflower until I quit smoking. Suddenly I found it delicious and I’ve been eating it “riced” and mashed, sometimes with butter, salt and pepper […]
