June/July Update

June was a busy month with school wrapping up and track field plus lake visits and all the in between. We took 3 little kittens to their new home in Moose Jaw. They have 2 new kids to love them and care for them. I celebrated my 42nd birthday on the 26th with a movie night with a few girlfriends 🙂

July started out with a bang when we took the kids out for the fireworks on July 1st and they were really good this year, I’m glad we went! And then we were in full work mode for the next two weeks with bosses on holidays and extra work there and at home. We celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary on July 15th. Hard to believe we’ve been together for 25 years already!

We were all up and out the door by 6am Monday heading to the Saskatoon airport for another adventure. It was the first time flying for our kids. The 2 oldest weren’t bothered at all Ryan didn’t like it as much. He made out just fine though and was excited to get back on the ground.

I’ve enjoyed our holidays and I am definitely not ready to go back to work. Once I’m back I’ll realize how much I missed it though! I have tons of pictures from our holidays that I will share later. For now I will leave you with one of my favorite sunset pictures I took.

How is your summer going? Weather here has been pretty fair to us, with a few scorching hot days but mostly good. Summer is so short it’s hard to complain too much weather wise. As long as we can get out and get some sun we are generally happy here. The ticks and mosquitos though….. That’s my biggest complaint!
