I can’t say how much I love having Sunday’s off from work! For years I worked only Saturday and Sunday but I never got to spend much time with the family. Yesterday we went out to find a Christmas Tree. The kids picked it out and they did such a great job! We had so many great laughs. We normally have an artificial tree but this year is different in so many ways, we thought why not do a real tree?

We always do a real tree. Last year it was just from a supermarket though – not quite so fun as picking it our with the kids. Enjoy!

Hey Ang, I love the tree you picked out. 😀 When my kids were small we had a real tree. After my divorce and lived in an apartment I went to a fake tree that I could just put up easily and then take down. Now, we wanted a living tree still in a pot. Josh didn’t want to kill a tree. 🙂
Anyway, I love the smell of a real tree. I hope you and yours truly have the best Christmas. 🙂

A live tree is an excellent idea! It really did hurt my heart to see that tree come down.

Too many allergies in the house, so artificial has been our choice for 20 years. We did go cut trees for a few years when the kids were young and it was a great experience. Allan

Yes, a great experience for sure. I do think that an artificial is still my favorite since they are less messy and last longer 🙂
