Combining 10 & 11

“Write about something for which you feel strongly” and “Something you always feel think What If… about”. are the topics for this post.

I feel strongly about many things, I can get into a passionate conversation very easily. Anything from not following the arrows to what we shouldn’t be eating, from how we shouldn’t be trusting the government to how we need better support for mental health. I also feel pretty strongly about soup kitchens and being kind to everyone and taking care of nature and the list could go on and on!

I think “What if” I could heal the world? What if I could take away the pain of just one person? What if I could take care of just one homeless person and guarantee they have a roof over their head, food and water and someone to love them? What if I could stop the hurt? What if I could protect even just one other person from the abuse that I know? What if we could all just be good people??? These are all out of my control of course, and honestly it would be such a burden to to be the one to be able to do all this. It’s not meant for a human to take on.

But what if we all just tried to be a little better than we were yesterday? What if we all tried to be kind and spread joy wherever we went? What if we needed a hug and someone gave us one without judgement?

I think the “what ifs” should start, as you say with being kind, helping others and spreading happiness. If we do these simple things, and they are repeated, the world does become a better place for all. Stay well Angie. Allan
