You sat staring at me. Your mysterious eyes mesmerizing my entire being. Beauty.
I don’t remember how old I was when I saw it. I thought it was a trick at first. As I stood there looking at it, it looking back at me, unblinking, not moving, I didn’t know really what else to think. It was too small to be real but too big to be fake. And the color was wrong. My aunt was coming out the door right behind me and I vaguely remember her grabbing onto me lightly as to not allow me to go any further. She called Grandma and the rest is a bit of a blur. I am almost positive I can still hear my Grandma say in amazement “Well! It’s an owl!” I also remember someone saying to get back inside.
I also know that if I were to walk outside right now and come across a snowy owl sitting only 3 feet from me, I’m not sure if I could resist the temptation to reach out and touch it. I also know that if I did, I wouldn’t have trouble resisting the next time!
Is there an animal encounter that left you in awe that you’ve never forgotten?
Hope you had a great and relaxing weekend!

Oh wow! What an awesome image! Goosebumps all over.
I had a pretty neat encounter with a bear one time while my friend was pushing her baby stroller…😳

Bears always amaze me. The way their fur shines and glistens in the sunlight and seems to flow as the walk. They are powerful and beautiful beasts! I don’t think I would want to be near them with a baby stroller though! I enjoy them from a safe distance with a good escape route planned out 😀
